Using Modifiers and Options
Customize menu items with modifiers to meet customer preferences.
What are Modifiers?
Modifiers allow you to customize menu items with:
- Cooking preferences (e.g., "Well done", "Medium rare")
- Add-ons (e.g., "Extra cheese", "Add bacon")
- Removals (e.g., "No onions", "Hold the pickles")
- Size options (e.g., "Large", "Small")
Adding Modifiers to Items
- Add item to order
- Tap on the item in order summary
- Select applicable modifiers from the list
- Some modifiers may have additional charges
- Tap "Confirm" to apply
Common Modifier Examples
Beverages:
- Ice level: No ice, Less ice, Regular ice
- Sugar level: No sugar, Less sugar, Regular sugar
- Size: Small, Medium, Large
Main Dishes:
- Spice level: Mild, Medium, Spicy, Extra Spicy
- Cooking: Rare, Medium, Well done
- Add-ons: Extra sauce, Side vegetables
